If one decides to take their drink to go, there will be a nominal charge of 0.50 for takeaway containers. Their ample size justifies the cost. Overall, I rate this restaurant five stars, citing both the exquisite quality of the food and the outstanding service provided.

Food was delicious and didn’t disappoint. Nice size portions and very flavorful. The chef did the damn thing!! Good customer service. Will be coming back again when we come to Corpus.

Mariscos Altamar is a fantastic spot for fresh and flavorful seafood in Corpus Christi! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a great mix of authentic Mexican coastal vibes and friendly service. The service was fast and attentive! The seafood is incredibly fresh—The agua mineral preparada are a must-try, and they pair well with just about anything on the menu. Service is attentive and fast, even during busy hours. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. If you’re looking for a great seafood spot with a Mexican twist, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommend the mojarra especial! We’ll definitely be coming back!

The food is delicious and so fresh! We had tacos gobernador, chicken on chipotle cream sauce and a fish platter...this chef knows what he is doing! The mix tequila drinks are delicious! Great job...we will be back over and over..thanks to everyone and the great staff too

Don't let the outside fool you. Step up to door and you will smell the authentic Mariscos. Instead of chips and salsa, you get ceviche with 2 salsas, anjojoli tortillas and crackers, wow that's almost a meal. I ordered the small chicharones de pescado. Wow! Perfect browning, crust very thin how i like and served with plenty of limes, onions and chipotle sauce. Incredibly fresh and you can actually taste the fish. The green salsa is pretty hot and the red not too bad. Also ordered the camarones en mojo de ago. WOW, a generous amount of shrimp and the rice was 100%. Side of salad. Finally just because, ordered the half pineapple with chicken, shrimp mushrooms and i don't know what else with topping of Mexican cheese melted. If you are looking for seafood that tastes like Mariscos, look no further. This is a definite return and on my favs. Service was friendly and attentive to all our questions. Thank you!!!

Fantastic dinner for our first time in Corpus Christi. Instead of going to the tourist seafood spots, I’m glad we went here since we got incredible seafood at a reasonable price. The fried red snapper was crispy and delicious and the beef fajitas were a great portion and very tasty. We were also happy with the complimentary ceviche. Our favorite restaurant during our vacation.

All seafood based dishes. Quality of food was much better than I thought it would be. Great protein choices like shrimp, oysters, variety of fish, abalone, octopus, crab. I had the fettuccine with shrimp, crab, and octopus, and my friend ordered the caldo soup with 4 or 5 types of seafood in it (this seemed to be a popular dish). Also nice large portions.

We heard of this Restaurant for Instagram. They had a contest for Fathers Day and I won. My wife and I are from San Antonio, and this past Saturday we went to this Restaurant. The Restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. They had a selection of drinks for a reasonable price. When they seat you they give u chips and salsa. My wife had the shrimp and let me tell you it was delicious. I had the fajitas with shrimp and it was pleasantly delicious. The prices are fair and you get a generous amount of food. We can’t wait to go back....,
